Some interesting development as of late: first, I got my act together and filled out the application form for SFWA, which turned out to be surprisingly easy to use. I quickly got a reply with my membership information. I am now an SFWA member and got to vote for the Nebula just before the deadline closed yesterday.

I also made a sale to PodCastle. “Jaguar Woman,” which first appeared in Shimmer last year, will be available in an audio version sometime in the near future.

I also dusted off the novel I wrote last year and decided I’ll revise it this spring (along with finishing the second novel). If anyone is interested in a magic-realist, Mexican story set around the beginning of the 20th century I sure am looking for an agent.
