The Manticore roars
I’ve sold my short science-fiction story “The Manticore” to M-Brane SF, a relatively new (I learned about them last year) magazine which boasts a regular schedule (a big plus for a small zine) and some interesting names in the tables of contents. For example, they had a story by Cat Rambo in the last issue.
Also, sold the audio rights of “Bed of Scorpions,” which originally appeared in the Tesseracts Thirteen anthology, to Pseudopod. It should be an interesting experience.
Finally, this Wednesday March 3 I am going to be guest-posting over at Bitten by Books. Well, me and the other writers in the Canadian horror anthology Tesseracts Thirteen. Stop by and ask us questions. I’ll be monitoring the questions and answering “live.” So if you’ve ever been interested in me, or what I write, now’s your chance to talk to me.

Congrats! I think M-Brane is a really nice little magazine, and it is really well put together. Another one of the small mags that gets some notice and is really beautiful is Sybil’s Garage.

Thanks! I also like Zahir and Shimmer for small mags. Though Zahir just went online and ceased its print edition. I really like good print products because of the tangible element.
