    “Stories must not have been submitted elsewhere for publication consideration” – So these stories must be written specifically for this antho? No stories that we have which meet the qualifications, but have been rejected elsewhere?

    Regarding formatting: If the story has chapters or sections, should they be done as headings in Word, or should they simply be bold text?

    Hi Silvia,
    Had not been planning to submit to this as I’m in the midst of a novella for Crossed Genres, but as I have until 30 September, something might have started cooking.

    Quebec Ville is still in Canada – yes. They haven’t broken away – yet?

    Could you use something shorter – say around 500 words – or is 2000 words a hard minimum?

    I’m working on a piece set in Nunavut in the early 60s. From my research, some of the characters would be likely to refer to the Inuit as “eskimos.” Do you have an editorial plan for dealing with the language which is authentic for the era but could be problematic today?
